THELMA MARGARET GIESE February 21, 1921 - August 24, 2016 Thelma Margaret Giese, born February 21, 1921, has passed away peacefully at the Morris General Hospital on August 24, 2016 at the awesome age of 95 years. Thelma is survived by one brother Ernest. She was predeceased by one brother Arthur and several half brothers and sisters. Thelma enjoyed, and loved colorful flowers, all species of birds and glitzy jewelry. She was an avid crocheter, especially hats and matching scarves. She helped with many church functions, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also spent several years working as a sales clerk at the Morris Drugstore. She was a wonderful, caring and generous aunt and greatly loved by her family. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Manor in Rosenort, Manitoba. A private interment at the Morris Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thelma's memory to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
