IRENE MARGARET INDRIDSON (nee CARSON) March 27, 1922 - August 30, 2016 Peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, mom passed away on August 30, 2016 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, William (Bill) Indridson in 2003. She is survived by her children, June (Doug Karpish), Wilene Place (Dave), Leah Rensfelt (Doug Porter), and Carson. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Lorene Desmarais (Mark), Paul Jeffery (Lisa Jacobson), Dara Prychun (Patrick), Heather Beerling (Keith), Dale Place (Michelle), Karin Rensfelt (David Chalmers), and Eric Rensfelt (Brittany Kear). Mom was fortunate to have 10 very special great-grandchildren, Anna, Caroline, Preston, Tyson, William, Joey, Vivian, Madeline, Claire and Emmerson. Mom was born and raised on a farm near Edwin, MB, daughter of Clarence and Alice Carson. She married Bill in 1944 and spent the rest of her life living in Selkirk, Manitoba. Mom was outgoing and loved to get together with family, friends and neighbours. She will be remembered for hosting many large family gatherings throughout the years. She loved to curl, play bridge, and especially loved to dance. Mom spent her last few years at the Tudor House Personal Care Home where she was known as "The Dancing Queen". The family would like to thank the Tudor House staff for their kindness and compassion. Funeral service will be Friday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. in Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB.
