WAYNE JEROME VANDENBERGHE At the age of 72, Wayne passed away July, 2016, in Oakbank, MB. Wayne was predeceased by his wife Joanne, his parents George and Doris, and his brother Doug. He leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Pat, nephews Grant (Rosalie), Mark (Jessica) and Kent (Natashia) and their children and many other family members and friends. Wayne was born July 14, 1944, and was raised on a small family farm in St. Germain, MB. He graduated from Red River College and spent most of his career applying his mechanical skills at Molson Canada. He married the love of his life, Joanne, in 1969 and spent the next 28 years together. Wayne was a loving and devoted husband to Jo and enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques with her. Wayne was a great story teller, a loyal friend and a kind hearted person that was always willing to lend a hand. A funeral service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held Thursday, September 8, at 1:00 p.m. at E. J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Home at 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg. Any donations can be forwarded to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Canada.
