EUGENE JOSEPH BIALKOWSKI March 12, 1949 - September 22, 2016 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father Eugene at St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Eugene is survived by his three children: Candace, Damian and Janine (Greg) Simmons; and grandchildren Megan and Lydia. He is also survived by his siblings: Joan (Glenn) Germain, Janet (Dan) and Elsie (Jerry) Bugera; and nephews, Tyson, Owen, and Reiss. Eugene was predeceased by his mother Anne, father Joe, and brother Nestor. Eugene worked many fond years at Dominion Bridge and afterwards found happiness driving his water truck for Borland Construction. Eugene was a very good father and he held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was always proud of us. Eugene was also a loving brother, uncle and son towards his family. Eugene always cherished many wonderful memories in St. Malo, MB and on his family's farm in Roseau River, MB. We loved going for a ride on the trike with him on the farm. Eugene was a great friend to others and was always willing to help anyone. He loved his cat Minou and would always show love to an animal in need. Eugene had many interests; he loved spending time outdoors and working hard on making a beautiful vegetable garden; something he inherited from his parents. He also liked listening to country music, watching sports and spending time camping with us in his trailer. "We will miss him dearly." The family wants to extend their thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Unit 7S for their care and support. In keeping with Eugene's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Eugene's honour may be made to a charity dear to your family. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU & CO. • My husband Jerry and I are saddened to hear of the loss of a friend. We didn't spend much time with him over the last few years but we both have fond memories of many fun times together. We would like to offer our sympathies to his children, his family and to Lise. May the lord be with you in the new journey you are on. Rest in peace old friend - Posted by: verna samborski (friend) on: Oct 02, 2016
