He leaves to mourn his parents, Scott and Michelle (née Badiou); two brothers, Dylan and Brody Russell; his girlfriend Taylor Antonchuk; his grandparents, Margret Russell, Roger and Simone Badiou; his great-grandparents, Louise Badiou and Francine Marion; two uncles, Trent Russell and Pat (Stacey) Badiou; his cousins, Rebeka, Karli, Kyle, Haylee and Ryan; and numerous buddies and friends. Braden was predeceased by his Afi Pastor Gary Russell; two great-grandfathers, Aimé Badiou and Paul Marion. Braden Wayne Russell was born on May 3, 1998 in the St. Boniface Hospital, the first born child to Scott and Michelle Russell. Throughout his life Braden lived in Lockport, Manitoba. He attended school in St. Andrews and Lockport. He recently graduated from Lord Selkirk Regional School. In pursuit of his career dream, he began his first year at the University of Winnipeg in pre law, with the continuing love and support of his family and loved ones. Braden had many joys in life, he loved his truck, the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and various ATV activities, as well as his love of kijiji-ing. But, most of all he loved his family, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his love, Taylor. His compassion and love for life was often expressed by his usual expressions and sayings, it wasn't uncommon for him to show his affection by texting his parents "don't worry about me Dad, you worry about you" or " love you, bye". Braden will be forever loved and will be truly miss by all. "no worries" Funeral services will be held in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Selkirk, MB (St. Andrews) on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with the video tribute prior to the service.
