JACQUELINE MARIE CARDINAL (nee LALIBERTE) June 7, 1939 - October 6, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother (Nanny), great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre at the age of 77 years. Jacqueline is survived by her son Calvin (Bonny); daughters, Cheryl (John), and Michelle (Gerry); brother Roy (Ruth), grand-children; Carolynn, Karen, Tanya, Pamela, Jeffrey, and Corey as well as great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends whom she cherished dearly. Jacqueline was predeceased by her mother Juliet, brothers; Bobby and Brian, companion Nick and late husband Allan. Jacqueline was a kind-hearted caring woman, who found beauty in the simple things in life. In her early years she spent her time socializing, playing bingo, cards and dancing the polka or jigging. Her laughter was infectious and could be heard from across the room. Jacqueline was a hard worker who spent the majority of her career working as a seamstress with Manitoba Clothing until she retired at the age of 63. Jacqueline loved spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Golden Door Geriatric Centre for their wonderful care and compassion. They have expressed that Jacqueline was a model resident and was such a joy to be around. In keeping with Jacqueline's wishes, a viewing will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
