BRENDA GRACE CLAGGETT It is with deep sadness that we announce Brenda's sudden passing on October 8, 2016 at the age of 63 years. Brenda was predeceased by her father Bus Claggett. She is survived by her mother Irene Claggett (Fred Glynn) of Kelowna, BC; brother Jim (Janice), and nephew Evan of Red Deer, Alberta; niece, Taryn, of Edmonton; and by longtime companion Bob Sothern of Winnipeg. Brenda was born at the Flin Flon General Hospital on June 1, 1953. When her parents moved to Winnipeg, Brenda finished her schooling, and graduated as a Registered Nurse at the St. Boniface General Hospital in 1980. Most of her nursing career was spent as an operating room Perioperative Nurse Clinician. Brenda played golf as a member of the St. Boniface GC for many years, enjoyed curling and was a big fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. She was a wonderful cook and was deep into crafting, always sending out the best birthday/Christmas cards which were very personalized. She loved to travel and visited Europe on several occasions, but seemed to love Mexico even more. Brenda and Bob spent many enjoyable warm-weather vacations in the sun. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB. A light lunch will follow. BRENDA GRACE CLAGGETT It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Brenda Claggett on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 63 years. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.   • Had so much fun thru high school... dances, lunches, parties.... I remember one school dance where she helped me sneak my dress out of my house and over to hers, so we could quickly shorten it before the dance.
