Hi Don & family. Barb was a lively lady w/great energy & imagination. When she chose to, Barb lit up the room. She was thoughtful, considerate, kind, & we became friends in the parkade, chattering away like long lost friends. We shared a passion for great costume jewelry &, we discovered over the almost 2 yrs it was my pleasure to count her as a good friend, many other interests way too numerous to mention. I was stunned when another neighbour called to tell me that Barb had passed & that the funeral was the next day. Unfortunately, I could not attend Barb's funeral as I wished. And, I did not find this site until today. But, I did send you a condolence card that I hope you've already received. Should you wish to chat, please get my contact # from Cindy or Yvette. Please accept my most sincere condolences to you, Don, & your family. Your olde neighbour, Arlene (& Waldy) - Posted by: Arlene Hirsch (Friend & neighbour) on: Oct 25, 2016

I can only think about the good times. One of the times in particular when you spent with me and my cats with your jewellery. Your, smiles, laughter, and tolerance of sabra going in your purse and star wanting to play with jewellery. God help me I will miss you so much but hopefully you will rest now and find peace. - Posted by: Aileen Feicho (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2016
