I had no idea that Maureen had passed away. I'm so sorry to hear this. What a shock. We've never met, but had email conversations for a few years. And I recently found some of the Bennet genealogy back 4 generations for her. It was very coincidental that I saw the condolence posts on her Facebook page. So sorry for your loss, what a wonderful woman she was, and such great memories you will have. Deepest Regrets, Kim Ellison - Posted by: Kim Ellison (distant cousin in law) on: Nov 22, 2016

I just found out today that dear, sweet Maureen died. We were at Mum's for Remembrance Day and we are so, so, so sad. What a woman. What a cousin. What a friend. I can hardly believe I am typing these words. Smart, funny, loyal, and loving!!! I was so delighted to meet her in Stony Mountain after Pop introduced us and even more pleased that we were cousins. We shared lots of laughs and tears together since we both had a lot in common. Even nicknaming Brady after the nickname my Dad gave her Dad! I am so sorry and words cannot express what a great lady Maureen was. Love, Allyson Linklater. - Posted by: Allyson Linklater (Cousin) on: Nov 11, 2016

Dear family and friends of Maureen. We were so saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. She was a very important part of our union family. She worked diligently to try and have a fair work place for everyone. Our union sister will truly be missed. - Posted by: Kelly & Daniel Minucci (friend) on: Oct 17, 2016
