THOMAS ANDREW MACKIE January 13, 1933 - October 14, 2016 Dad passed away quietly and peacefully surrounded by family. Tom was the last remaining child of John and Sarah Mackie. He was predeceased by his daughter Amanda Mackie. Left to mourn his passing are his sons, John Mackie and Eugene Mackie; as well as his cherished grandson Reece Mackie and sister-in-law Beatrice Mackie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Tom left Fisherton in 1959 to venture west to work. He returned with his three children in 1975. He enjoyed camping, wildlife, fishing and was always glad to see Ab's cattle come to pasture in the spring for him to watch over and care for. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home in Fisher Branch, MB. There will be a viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Fisherton Cemetery. Lunch will be at the Ukrainian Hall in Fisher Branch.
