Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT LADE Surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, with a smile on his face and surrounded by love, Albert left this world for his next voyage on Monday October 17, 2016. Born January 23, 1931 in Horst Brandenburg, Germany. Immigrated to Canada in 1952. Married to Susan (Baerg) Lade on October 31, 1953 until her passing in December 2003. They had five children, Karin (Grant), Sandra (Bob), Carla (who passed away in 1967), Fred (Dave), Anton-Johann aka Tony (David). Four grandchildren, Tara-Lee (Jayson), Jenny, Zascha, and Christine (Roger); six great-grandchildren, Emma, Cassie, Ella, Georgia, Kieran aka Fritz, Carter; sisters Edith, Karin (Karl-Friedrich), Heide (Wolfgang), and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members that he was in active contact with around the globe. Founding Partner of Bunzy's Auto Body in 1974. He was the former President of the Winnipeg Automotive Trades Association. Albert was an observant Free Mason and Past Master of Empire Lodge 127. He was a former President of the Winnipeg Shriner's Khartum Temple Motor Patrol. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader of the Transcona Boy Scout Troop No. 7. All sons, daughters, and sons-in-law would like to thank Albert for all the wisdom, guidance and love he gave us and wish him peace and happiness on his journey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Hemophilia Society would be welcomed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street. It was a terrible shock to hear of Albert's passing and hit his very good friend Ron hard. Our condolences to the entire family here and in Germany.
