JAMES WILLIAM KUZENKO June 11, 1955 - October 14, 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother Jim on October 14, 2016. He was pre deceased by his loving parents, William and Jean Kuzenko. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Debbie Colley, brother, David Kuzenko, nieces Shawna, Anastasia and Ivy, as well as many other friends and relatives. Jim was born and raised in Niverville Manitoba, but moved to Winnipeg when he became employed with the University of Manitoba postal services. He retired after 30 years. Jim always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met. He was a kindhearted, generous, individual who loved wholeheartedly and simply found the good in everyone. He didn't judge or question your differences. He was simply and purely about acceptance. Jim had a passion and incredible talent for dancing, he loved watching his Winnipeg Blue Bombers and he thoroughly enjoyed taking various adult education classes as a retirement hobby. He never tired of learning new things. The world will miss this honest, genuinely kind man who would have given you the shirt off his back. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for some time in November. There will be further notice. "Give mom and dad our love Jim; and I hope you are dancing up a storm on your own cloud. We will never forget you." www.voyagefuneralhome.com

  • My condolences to Jim's family. I have many fond memories of Jim. A couple of our favorite things to do together included watching Bomber games and relishing our shared love of U2 and their music, and sometimes in summer, taking a day trip out to Winnipeg Beach in "the Oxblood," (named by Jim) my maroon coloured 1990 Honda Accord. I continue to cherish a coffee table book on U2 that Jim gave me on my birthday once. He truly was a kind and generous man. I will fondly remember him. - Posted by: James Fehr (Friend) on: Nov 02, 2016

  • I was saddened to hear about Jim's passing; we became friends when we both worked at the U of M. Jim was kind and thoughtful; we would go for coffee and talk about music, especially music from the 80s! Jim shared about how swing dancing and how his night classes were going and plans for the future. He was a wonderful person and an overall good friend. My condolences to everyone in his family. - Posted by: D. Chad Smith (Friend) on: Nov 02, 2016
