SOLANGE JOBIN (née DUVAL) August 28, 1929 - October 18, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Solange Jobin on October 18, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Raymonde, Denis, Rachel (Normand Bremaud), Doris (Edouard Robert), her grandchildren, Colleen, Christine, Melanie, Amber, Ryan, Brittni and Kate, her great-grandchildren, Isabel, Alex, Keyshawn and Kaysia. Solange was born and raised in St. Jean Baptiste, MB where she spent most of her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and memère. She made her final home at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB. Thank you to Dr. deMoissac and all of the staff at Villa Youville, especially Patty and Jeanette for the special care they gave Solange. Also a special thanks to Yvette Proteau, Sr. Rioux, and Sr. Vermette who visited her often and provided her with great spiritual comfort. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Roman Catholic Church in St. Jean Baptiste, MB. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured if donations were made in memory of Solange to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
