ANNA THIERJER It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Oma), at the Vista Park Lodge, on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Anna is survived by her son Joe (Pauline); grandchildren, Theresa (Kevin), Lisa, Cindy (Vaughan), Ralph; son-in-law Rudi; nephew Peter; great-grandsons, Steven, Alex and Jacob. Anna was predeceased by her husband Josef as well as her daughter Anna Fleichhauer and her brother Peter Franzen. Those who knew and loved Anna will remember her joy of gardening, baking, big family dinners for all of the holidays and birthdays. The family would like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their kindness and care. In keeping with Anna's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
