DELIA BERNIER Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, MB, at the age of 92. Prayers are slated for Friday, November 4, and the funeral is slated for Saturday, November 5. Full obit to follow in Wednesday's paper. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. My sincere condolences to the Bernier family. It was a real joy to know her , very hospitable,very kind, very loving to all who knew her. She had opened her doors for us,or I should say she opened her heart to us ( for a wedding we attended in Fisher Branch). So very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom..she leaves a legacy of love in all her family. Delia was a very special lady in my life some 40 years ago. I was a young mother and with her kindness, love, and much experience with children she mentored me in my early journey of becoming a good mother. She always had time for me in her very busy days and we would sit in the kitchen at a table that was befitting for Delia and husband Paul's large family...and there we would feast on her delicious homemade bread and jam all the while sipping on tea.
