DENIS ALEXANDER COURCHAINE 1945 - 2016 It is with the heaviest of heart, I am announcing the passing of my beloved husband, Denis Alexander Courchaine, on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 71 years. Denis was predeceased by his parents, Lorenzo and Rosanna, sister Terry Arbuthnot and brothers, Oscar and Lionel. He was born and raised in St. Germain, Manitoba and resided in Windsor Park. Denis worked for CPR as a welder for many years and spent over 30 years of enjoyable summers with family and friends at his cottage in Ontario. His sense of humour and the artwork he did with steel will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Denis will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eunice, of 41 years; siblings, Joseph Courchaine, Antoinette Courchaine (Laddy Capuska), Cecile Scott (Donald), Sally Perchaluk (Paul), Richard Courchaine (Kim) and many nieces and nephews, who were so wonderful and caring. In keeping with Denis' wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Denis may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. "Love Forever."

Aunty Eunice my heart is heavy for you. We were all so very lucky to share so many great family moments together. Any of our collective families special event we could count on Uncle Mike with his contagious grin and laugh enjoying it with everyone. I will miss him terribly - but know that I can draw on a lot of great memories that will put a smile on my face & heart. Thank you for sharing your love with us all - so wonderful watching you two have 41 years together and all I saw was a great love and respect from two very giving people that were meant to be together. Uncle Mike will always be one of my favourite people. I wish that I was there with you all. Sending you our love Pamela, Micheal, Shaefer & Ryka Moorlag xxoo - Posted by: Pamela Moorlag (Niece) on: Nov 03, 2016
