Edward, son of the late John and Anna Kreviazuk was born November 25, 1932 in Gonor, Manitoba where he grew up and attended school. In 1960 Ed married the love of his life, Jean, and they were blessed with two children, Tim and Sandra (Darryl), and three grandchildren, Brett, Collin and Jenna. He is survived by one sister Carol (Roy) and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was predeceased by his brothers John Jr. (Puffy) and Wally. Ed and Jean built their own home in St. Andrews, Manitoba where they lived for 50 years before moving to Winnipeg. Faithful to his marriage vows for 56 years, his Catholic faith was the foundation of their life together. Ed lived a wonderful, fruitful and blessed life. He loved travelling with his wife Jean. Some of his favorite destinations were Hawaii, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ed had a passion for sporty cars which led to his career as a Rental Car Manager at Tilden, Airways and Eastern Sales. He was an avid hockey fan and enjoyed playing hockey until he was 69 years of age, with the St. Andrews Aces Old Timers Hockey Club. He especially liked the after-game beverages! Ed also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren at Tim's cottage in Silver Harbour. Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Home where he lived for the past 26 months. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6297 Henderson Highway, Gonor, Manitoba. Ed was our best friend in Arnes. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He is now with my husband Matt and they are having coffee together. I was unable to get to the service, first of all I did not know were and when it was and also I was really sick with a cold. My sympathy is there for the whole family. We will miss him forever. Love you guys - Posted by: mary gauthier (friend) on: Nov 07, 2016

Dear Sandy and Darryl, My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time. It's not easy to lose a parent, but know he had a full and rewarding life and sometimes it's just better to go than hanging around when you're not yourself. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm out of town and won't be able to attend the service, however I will take a moment to send you positive thoughts on Friday. Again I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. - Posted by: Pat Lewicki (Friend) on: Nov 02, 2016
