JASPAL SINGH October 1, 1943 October 31, 2016 Jaspal Singh Dhindsa beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend, passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on October 31, 2016 with his family by his side. Jaspal is survived by his wife, Sheela and children Kulwant, Jagtar, Parmjeet and Jatin. He was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren, (Amritpal and Hardeep Atwal, Riya and Yuvraj Dhindsa, Doyal and Rishi Chahal). He will be missed by his four brothers, (Rajinder, Harcharan, Sukhdev, Harjinder); and two sisters, (Harjinder Kaur and Harcharan Kaur). Being born in Mohra, Ambala, India, he joined the Indian Air force at the tender age of 18 years old. He went on to serve 29 years in the air force, prior to immigrating to Canada. Upon reaching Winnipeg, he continued to diligently work for the next 19 years in various positions, touching many lives. He was a kind, nurturing and generous soul that helped anyone he could. It was through his good will and giving nature that the majority of the family has since been able to establish themselves in Canada. His strength and perseverance made him the respected man that he was and continued until his very last breath. He will be missed by all and forgotten by none. An Akhand path will be held at Singh Sabha Gurdwara (4000 Sturgeon Rd) beginning on Thursday, November 3rd. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster blvd.
