MILDRED KING (nee HARRIS) Peacefully, with her family by her side, Mildred passed into the hands of God on Monday, October 31, 2016. Millie was born January 30, 1933 to George and Margaret Harris. She grew up in Norwood and attended King George School. She married Reginald King on January 27, 1954 and together they raised their three children in St. Boniface. She truly was a Norwood Gal as she lived her entire life in the Norwood/ St. Boniface area. Millie was predeceased by her husband Reginald in 2001, both her parents George and Margaret and brothers Herb, Jack and Andy. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Diane (Len), her sons, Jim (Sheila) and Brian (Liz) as well as grandchildren Kaitlyn, Anna, Matthew, Ashton, Sabrina and Vanessa. She is also survived by her sister Elexia and family. At our Mom's request no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers and because of her love for animals we ask that donations in her memory be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. We would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. P.G. Mehta and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the very kind and compassionate care given to our Mom. Rest in peace Mom. You will be forever in our hearts. E.J. COUTU & CO.
