Carol is predeceased by her mother Betty Behman, her husband Bob, brothers Terry and Wesley Babisky, brother-in-law Paul (Mort) Shuster, and daughter-in-law Richelle Desrosiers. Deeply missed by her sons Brent and Garth, daughters Dawn and Paula, sisters Donna, Barbara, and Gail, brothers Buddy and Larry, sister-in-law Brenda, sons-in-law Barry and Gary, grandchildren Nicholas, Celeste, Marley, Caleb, Stephanie and Gwynneth, great-grandchildren Jacob, Colton, Carter and Ella, her close friends Robert, Janice, Bernie, and her pet Elvis. Carol was especially fond of her niece Maxine Shuster who was like another daughter to her. Carol was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and was the eldest of eight children providing care and guidance to her siblings while growing up. Carol was intelligent and compassionate, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed social occasions and celebrations with family and friends. She was most passionate about dancing, painting, gardening, sewing and cooking. Carol was an industrious individual with vocations that included professional engraver, working at Ricki's head office and home care health aid. We would like to thank the special people, including her step family, who visited her at home and the hospital, who picked up her spirits and provided her with support and care. Celebration of Carol's life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler's Funeral Home, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB.
