MORRIS JOSEPH BOTINK Morris Joseph Botink passed away peacefully early Monday morning, October 31, 2016, at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. Morris was 88 years old. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Maria and Joseph Botink, his brother-in-law, Bobby Minnis and survived by his sister, Irene Minnis, as well as Roberto Ramos and Bella. A mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street North, Winnipeg, at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 7. Following the mass, Morris will be laid to rest beside his mother and father at the Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main Street, West St. Paul. A special thanks to the staff of the HSC who cared for Morris during his last days and to the Grace Hospital home care team. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing Morris. I think of you often and look at your beautiful orchid in my kitchen window as a nice reminder of your kindness and the memories and stories we have shared throughout the many years! I am relieved to hear of your peacefulness in passing. I do wish I had known sooner as to have had the chance to say goodbye! Roberto - my condolences to you and to seret dear Bella.
