LEO PAUL ODETTE December 1, 1927- November 15, 2016 At the age of 88 years, Leo passed away peacefully at Misericordia Place Personal Care Home on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Leo was predeceased by his wife Pauline in 2009. He leaves to mourn his daughters Cheryl (Con) and Darlene (Reg); grandchildren Andrea (Darcy), Michael (Lorie), David (Tina), Kristopher, and Samantha; and great-grandchildren Alexandra and Magnus. Leo started his life in Transcona, where he enjoyed playing sports with friends, and eventually met his beautiful wife, Pauline. He started his career as a fireman for the Transcona and CNR Fire Department. He then became an Assistant Fire Commissioner for the Provincial Government; a position he loved and from which he retired in 1987. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the staff of MP2 at Misericordia Place for their care and support. In keeping with Leo's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leo may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. I remember coming from the farm in Tyndall for holidays with Darlene. Had so much fun in Transcona and your Dad was just the nicest man. Both your Mom & Dad welcomed me into your home and gave me some wonderful memories. Deepest condolences to you, Darlene and your family. - Posted by: Theresa Hunter (nee Hnatiuk) (Relative) on: Nov 19, 2016
