Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURA MABEL HALL Peacefully at the Grace Hospital, on November 19, 2016, Laura Mabel Hall passed from this world into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, at the age of 87 years. Laura is lovingly remembered by her daughter Katherine Marks (Oliver), her sons Gavin Hall (Becky) and Dr. Andrew Hall, grandchildren Andrew Marks, Benjamin Marks, Sarah Jane Marks, Abigail Hall, Ethan Hall and Cassidy Hall. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Laura was predeceased by her husband Donald Hall, parents Stephen and Mabel Cooper, and siblings Eileen, Bert, Dorothy, and John. Born in Brantford, ON, Laura trained and worked as a nurse. After raising her family, she worked for the City of Winnipeg as a librarian. She was a founding member of Assiniboia Community Church in 1978, and was committed to leading bible studies, mentoring other women, and developing the music ministry through the years. Laura devoted her life to serving the Lord, loving her family, and encouraging others to find their identity and gifting through a growing relationship with Jesus. Her life verse was Philippians 3:10: "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection..." We rejoice that our mom is safe in the arms of Jesus! The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care provided for our mother towards the end of her journey. Special thanks go to Dr. Borrett and nurses Christine and Beth (5th floor) and the Transitional Care Unit (4th floor) at Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Faith Bible Camp, PO Box 42059 RPO Ferry Road, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3X7, or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. A celebration of Laura's life will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Charleswood Community Church, 760 Charleswood Road. We will remember our visits with Aunt Laura fondly and we are very grateful for the support she and the Hall family provided to Allan's brother Ron Cooper. We are grateful as well, we got to spend time with her in Winnipeg three years ago when Ron passed. We especially remember our visits with her in Brantford when she came to see Uncle Ed Welch. Lots of warm memories. She was a special and very caring lady and will be missed. Allan & Yvonne Cooper - Posted by: Allan & Yvonne Cooper (Nephew) on: Nov 26, 2016
