CLARITA BACAY Clarita went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 26, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Clarita will be lovingly remembered by her children Bernadette (Anthony) Bellussi-Canto, Richard (Alena) Bellussi and Robert (Nicole) Bellussi; grandchildren Shynell, Rashawn, Sebastien, Jaylen, D'Mari, Ashley, Tristan, Liam, and Maya, great-grandchildren Lovèia and Trinity; siblings Antonio and Yolanda; sister-in-law Norma; nieces Heidi, Maribelle, Jane, Carol, Analee, and Alyssa; and nephew James Lee. She was predeceased by her parents Florentina and Pedro, sister Imelda, brother Ernesto, and nephew Anthony. Clarita came to Canada from the Philippines as a young woman where she married and raised three children. She was a Nurses Aide for most of her working career and she found this work very rewarding. She was always one to put the needs of others in front of her own. Being the first one of her family to come to Canada, she helped bring her younger brother and later on, her mother. Clarita was an amazing mother who loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She was a constant church goer who believed deeply in her faith and at times would hold group prayers in her own home, inviting any and all to attend. We would like to thank our Aunt Norma, Uncle Tony, all of our cousins, and the Pacle family for their support and help they gave our Mom and us throughout this difficult time. We also want to thank all the staff at St. Joseph's Residence for their kindness and compassion. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave. Viewing to be held one hour prior to service. Interment at Thomson "In the Park". Reception to follow at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway. www.voyagefuneralhome.com
