Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONINA LISNIAK February 11, 1923 - November 27, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonina Lisniak, our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on November 27, 2016. Mom was born in 1923 in a small village in Lemkivshchyna. After the war, she came to live in England where she met her husband Anton. They immigrated to Canada in 1960 with their children, and were actively involved in the Ukrainian community. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind and gentle manner and willingness to listen and provide support in any way she could, never judging and always compassionate. She was the anchor for her extended family that is scattered throughout Canada, Ukraine, the United States, and Poland. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Anton, of 50 years, her parents, and her siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Roman (Nadia) and Darka; her grandchildren Steven (Jessica), Andrew (Melissa), Katharyn (Justin), and John; great-grandson Thomas James; nieces Anna and Olha and their families; and by her friends and her extended family.
