RONALD MUIR Peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Calvary Place, Winnipeg, MB, Ron Muir, beloved husband of Gwen Muir, passed in the presence of the Lord at the age of 84 years. Ron successfully operated his own auto mechanic's business for 25 years, closing his tool box in 1999. He was chaplain at the Winnipeg International Airport for many years, involved in prison ministry at Headingley Correctional Institute and a member of the Gideons. Left to mourn are his wife of 57 years, the former Gwen Richardson, four sons: Garry (Elyse), Alan, Dale (Michelle) and Kevin (Melissa); grandchildren: Alyssa, Corey (Courtney), Marlena and Dorian; brother Cyril, sisters: Eva, Pearl, Kathy, Sharon, and Sheila, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Parkview Gospel Hall, 234 Parkview Street, St. James, MB. Viewing one hour before the service.. If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba would be appreciated.
