Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA SMEREK 1917-2016 It is with sadness the family announces Victoria (Baba Vicki's) passing on December 15, 2016 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg at the age of 99. Victoria was predeceased by her husband Dmytro, granddaughter Sandra, siblings Helen, Agnes, Albert, Johnny and parents William and Katie. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marjorie (Marion), Elizabeth (Ralph), and Sharon, nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was lovingly known as Baba Vicki by all who knew her. Baba Vicki was known for her honey cookies, playing Bingo and her sense of humour. She enjoyed being with family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg or a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.,Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Mary Best officiating.
