Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMORRIS WILLIAM BRADBURN August 12, 1944 - December 18, 2016 Peacefully on December 18, 2016 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, our loving husband father and grandfather, Morris William Bradburn passed away at the age of 72 years. Morris leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Rebecca; children, Joshua Bradburn and Bethany (Terry) Ettawacappo; grandchildren, Rielle and Mya Ettawacappo; siblings, Rosie Weenusk, Ralph Bradburn, Norma Sandburg, Nellie (Rusty) Cordell; his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives. Morris was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Catherine Bradburn; brothers, George and John; in-laws, John and Ruth Johnson; brother-in-law, Samuel; as well as numerous other relatives. Morris enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He worked as a heavy duty diesel mechanic. He met Becky in Thompson at Camp Midway, where they were both camp counsellors. They lived in various places across the country, as they enjoyed moving around and seeing new sights. They spent 43 years together. Morris will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the United Church in Norway House, Manitoba. Church service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Public Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the North End Cemetery. Morris and Becky were very good friends of ours in Thompson Manitoba. We spent much time together hunting, fishing, and picnicking with the kids. We are so sad to hear of his passing. His presence on this earth will be missed but we will see him again in our heavenly home. Becky and I were high school classmates and friends. We have lost touch over the years, but I think of her often. She was in my thoughts this morning and I decided to "search" for her. I am saddened to find her mentioned here. Becky and family I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. May Becky and family experience the peace and comfort of the Lord at this time! We have many fond memories from our Thompson days. Eileen played the organ at their wedding!
