This is our daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and our friend Lori. Lori was born on December 14, 1977 with a broken wing; she could never fly here on earth. Lori came to us on April 18, 1980 and our lives would forever change, for better, for worse, till death do us part; we loved her with every beat of our hearts. Lori is survived by her loving parents Dan and Edna; sister Susan Kovnats (Gord); niece Carly (Paul); nephew Dallas; brother Chris (Rena), and best friends Jillian and Troy. Lori will also be missed by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Lori was predeceased by her sister Shannon. The family would like to thank all of the FASD Life's Journey support workers for all of their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Lori may be made to Siloam Mission. Dear Edna, Dan and family, Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of Lori. We truly understand the depth of love feel for her and the depth of loss you must feel now. Special needs children tug at your heart every day and though you do everything possible to give them a good chance at life, they always have needs that cannot be met and issues that cannot be alleviated. May God bless you for all you have done for Lori, and help you through your grief over losing her. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Harold and Katie Howden (Friends) on: Dec 24, 2016
