JOSEPH HUBERT (HUB) LANDRY, M.D. Joseph Hubert "Hub" Landry M.D., 89 years, died Tuesday evening, December 20, 2016 in Indio, California. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Margaret (Nicholson) Landry; his son Paul Landry and his wife Kathy; his son Richard Landry; his daughter Christine (Landry) Neuman and her husband Christian; four grandchildren; sister Florence (Landry) Labossiere, and many beloved friends and family. Born in Lorette, Manitoba and raised in Winnipeg, the son of Ildege Landry and Emma (Johnson) Landry; he lived the majority of his adult life in the St. Louis, Missouri area practicing medicine as a successful radiologist. In his early years in Winnipeg, he worked in a local paint factory and then helped with electrical work. After graduating high school and university, the University of Saint-Boniface, in Winnipeg, he attended Laval University in Quebec to study medicine. He met his wife, Margaret Nicholson, while working in Ste-Anne, Manitoba. After moving to Alton, Illinois for work he and Margaret were married in 1958. Dr. Landry had a passion for life. He loved cars, clothes, travelling and playing golf. He also spent a lot of time in the Nestor Falls, Ontario area at their beautiful home on Crow Lake pursuing the ever-elusive lake trout. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 30 at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church in Lorette, Manitoba at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Missouri Baptist Health Care Foundation, Radiology Fund, in memory of Joseph Hubert Landry, 3015 N.
