I went to law school with Lowell and enjoyed his ever present smile and friendly personality. We actually re-connected in the last couple of years and had a wonderful lunch just...catching up. I was saddened when heard about his passing. He was a respected colleague at MPI and I will have my own memories of laughter in the common room at Robson Hall. So sad to learn of Lowell's passing. We were in many of the same classes for three years at the U of M. We also spent many, many, many hours studying together at the library or in seminar rooms. All my memories of Lowell are fond ones. Although we lost touch after graduation, I often wondered where he was and how he was doing. My sympathies to his family, friends and co-workers. - Posted by: Romana Hur (Classmate (Robson Hall)) on: Jan 22, 2017

I went to General Byng with Lowell and we were in Grade 2 together. He drew me the most wonderful pictures and as Grade two students we adored one another. I have never forgotten his gentle heart and his artistic talent. I am so sorry for your loss - your son made my grade two year so memorable in a beautiful way. - Posted by: Sandra Hamm (School mate) on: Jan 02, 2017
