  • It's kind of hard to separate the memories between Carol and Nelson. Both were/are big hearted people with an unusual ability to make people feel welcome, at home, and cared about. I knew Carol much better, but Nelson was about the easiest guy to spend time with that I ever met. Unending smiles, laughter and hospitality just oozing our of your pores. I loved how deeply you both cared about others, supremely proud of your children and grand-children and ever loyal to your friends. Carol, it was with great sadness that I learned about Nelson's passing today. What a deep loss for your family. Chris and I are in California so will be unable to attend the service. So sorry to miss it. - Posted by: Ron Blatz (acquaintance and work colleague of Carol's) on: Jan 19, 2017
