DENNIS KOPYCHANSKI Peacefully on January 14, 2017, Dennis passed away at the age of 68 at Victoria General Hospital with his family by his side. Dennis is survived by his wife Lorraine; sister Kathy (Neil); his five children John (April), Richard, Alan, Edward (Danielle) and Helen (Derick); step-daughters Josee, Bonnie, and Amanda (Paul) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dennis had so much love for his grandchildren, Daniel, Chad, Cole, Hailey, Tyler, Koreanna, Kailynn, Edward, Ethan, Luke, Harley, Jessica, Amy, and Claire. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Edward Sr., brother Edward Jr. and extended family. Dennis was always on the go and a jack of all trades but a master of none. "Whiskers" had many careers but from an early age the trucking industry was where he chose to be. He loved being outdoors golfing, camping and spending time with family. He showed so much love for all his family and friends with a big heart and open arms. Funeral service will be held on January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway. Reception to follow. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

  • I am saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. I worked with Dennis while we were at Gardewine North, and he was a great friend. I haven't kept up with him for the last several years, but I do remember some of the good times of golfing, as well as our trucking trips into northern Manitoba. Our deepest condolences to Dennis' family and extended family. May you rest in peace, Dennis. - Posted by: Rick Lucas () on: Jan 21, 2017
