CAMILLE JOSEPH BOUCHARD July 9, 1933 - January 20, 2017 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Camille, age 83, at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface on January 20, 2017. He will be missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Grace; sons, Jeff (Kim), Brian (Nicole); daughter Stacy and grandchildren, Brady, Riley, Camdyn and Jayde. He is also survived by his sister Lorraine; brother Gabe and sister-in-law Bertha. He was predeceased by his parents, Yvonne and Darky; brothers, Roland, Rene, Leo and sister Lucille. He worked 31 years for Canada Post and his passion was sports, especially hockey, fastball and baseball. He was inducted into the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame as a player and Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame as a coach. He taught and coached his three children throughout the years and carried on the tradition with his four grandchildren, his pride and joy, without being their official "coach". He volunteered countless hours at Champlain Community Club for many years. Family meant the world to Cam. He sacrificed his own personal needs for his wife and children. He was a calm, soft spoken man who gained the respect of many friends throughout his life. He taught his children to have a great work ethic, whether in life or on the sports field. He enjoyed life with the basic necessities of laughter, family, friends, food and a few rum and cokes. One of his last wishes was for the Yanks and Habs to be champions once again. The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Actionmarguerite St. Boniface, Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba or Kidsport. In keeping with Cam's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. E.J. • I would like to offer my condolences Aunty Grace to you and your family. In my earlier years I always remember watching Uncle Cam playing baseball. Also there was the day we came to your house I believe was Christmas and Uncle Cam and Carl both got the same sweater for a present and Uncle Cam said "I like your sweater" and we thought that was so funny. Take care and I am sure there are a lot of stories you will have to share amongst you and your kids. Our prayers are with you. - Posted by: Sherry And Carl Orcutt (Niece ) on: Jan 21, 2017
