JEANNINE MARIE LUSSIER (nee DELVEAUX) September 25, 1934 - January 21, 2017 In loving memory of Jeannine, 82, who passed away at Deer Lodge Centre surrounded by her loving family after a difficult struggle with dementia. Jeannine will be sadly missed and remembered by her children: Vivianne (Bob) Fowlie, Paul (Dawn) Lussier, Joanne (Dave) Holt and daughter-in-law Ingrid Makus. Grandchildren: Allison (Brad) Cole, Chad (Kirsten) Fowlie, Kendra (Casey) Gow, Kira and Megan Lussier, Mathew (Carolyn) Lussier, Breanne Lussier (Joseph Osiname), Sam Holt (Kyle Nickart), and Alex Holt. Great-grandchildren: Hannah and Ella Cole, Nate Fowlie. She was predeceased by her husband Herve (2009) and son Roger (2001). Mom was passionate about being an Avon Lady for 35 years (admittedly being her own best customer), knitting beautiful afghans, creating her fabulous meat pies, donating to charities and loving anything sweet, especially peanut butter cups. She had a tremendous love for her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was happiest while in their company. Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the home care team that kept mom in her home in Windsor Park, staff at Irene Baron Eden Centre, HSC for her three month stay, and most importantly to the caring, compassionate and professional staff at Deer Lodge Centre (T3 and 7W) for all the help and support they gave us. Mom received commendable care and loving attention that made her last days comfortable and pain free. We could not have travelled this journey without you. A private family gathering will be held. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Our condolences to the family. I have so many fond memories "chez les Delveaux". I especially remember Jeannine's sense of humour. God bless and comfort all of you. Love, cousin Vivianne (nee Maillard) Drought, Squamish, BC. - Posted by: Vivianne (nee Maillard) Drought (Cousin) on: Feb 01, 2017

  • May you rest in peace, Jeannine, you will be missed by family and friends. Prayers are with you always. - Posted by: Marie (Cousin) on: Jan 28, 2017

  • Ed and I are so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking to Jeannine whenever I had the opportunity. We had a lot of fun times with her and Herve. Unfortunately time passes us by quickly especially when our generation gets to be our parents. I remember her parents Joe and Armande and although I'm just a few years younger than Jeannine was, my older sister Marie is only 2 years younger. We will keep Jeannine in our prayers. Thinking of you at this time. - Posted by: Jeannette and Edward Grzadka (Cousin) on: Jan 28, 2017
