ELSIE MURDOCH It is with great sadness the family announces Mom's passing on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the Golden Links Lodge, at the age of 90 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara (Guy) Desautels, daughter-in-law Laurelle, 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Bob, son Alan, and daughter Irene. Mom was a British war bride, moved to Winnipeg with Bob, and raised her family. They both loved to travel and after Bob's passing Mom continued to travel with family and friends. Mom was a member of the White Cross Guild at the Health Sciences Centre where she volunteered numerous hours in the flower shop. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctor, nurses and staff at Golden Links Lodge for the care and compassion given to Mom and our family. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. "Mom, you will be forever in our hearts." E.J. COUTU & CO. We were sorry to hear of Aunt Elsie's passing and know that you will miss her very much. Our family has all been informed. She was the last left of that generation and will be missed.
