IVADELLE LORNA GILLES SOMERS (nee DELORME) September 1, 1957 February 1, 2017 With love and sadness in our hearts, our family announces that Ivadelle went on her final journey home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Ivadelle was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Alvina Delorme along with numerous siblings. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Blaine Somers; daughters, Frances (Owen), Teri (Abie) and Sabrina; sons, Keith (Stephanie) and Kenny; grandchildren, Vince, Josh, Tony, Kathy and Dakota; great-granddaughter Sadie; sisters, Betty (Bruce) and Neva (Dave); brothers, Thomas (Doreen), Hugh (Linda) and James (Vivian) along with numerous extended family members and friends. She was born and raised in Portage la Prairie, MB, where she later moved and resided in Winnipeg. The majority of her life was family orientated. A few things that she enjoyed doing was going to Bingo, playing shuffle board with her husband, spending time on the computer and she loved to teach and make her children and grandchildren different types of food. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy.
