  • Charlie was a good man, he will be missed deeply, I wasn't told of his passing but he was like a father, forever loved, Never Forgotten. Love C.C. - Posted by: C.C (Friend of Son's) on: Dec 18, 2019

  • The service today was beautiful and well-done. It suited Charlie perfectly. His life was about his family, that was always obvious. He often bragged about the successes of his kids and grandkids. I wish he could have enjoyed his retirement longer. We all miss him at Border. - Posted by: Laurie Tosh (Former co-worker) on: Feb 10, 2017

  • I am saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. Although I have not seen him for many years, his family and mine grew up on farms a mile apart. The Gartons were always ready to help out whenever it was needed. Charlie was already a teenager when I was very young but I always remember his smile and warm heart whenever he was around. My condolences to all the Gartons. May Charlie rest in peace. - Posted by: Les Roseveare (friend) on: Feb 10, 2017
