Florence was my grandfather's (Harry Munro) secretary at the Winnipeg and District Labour Council for many years. As a young girl I would go and visit my grandfather at his office and Florence was always so kind to me. I used to sit and watch her type up her letters and on special days she would always let me help her with the gestetner making copies- always a huge treat. I know my grandfather always appreciated Florence's contributions, and she certainly was a valued member of their team at the Labour Council. On behalf of the Munro family, please accept our sincere condolences. - Posted by: Kim Donkers (acquaintance) on: Feb 15, 2017

I met Florence when she was working at the Winnipeg Labour Council so many years ago. She was the consummate professional and provided so much support to that organization as it grew and changed. Florence was the calm and steady force that managed to produce so much at the time when we had not yet been introduced to the new time saving technologies we take for granted today. As busy as she was she always took the time to talk to anyone who came into their office and sometimes we would share a laugh. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Susan Hart-Kulbaba (former co-worker) on: Feb 15, 2017
