OLGA DOBROWOLSKI (nee BLOCK) July 9, 1932- February 11, 2017 After a wonderful life filled with family and good friends, Olga age 84 passed away peacefully at the Red River Valley Lodge in Morris on February 11, 2017. She leaves behind daughter Diane (Gary) Loewen and sons, Douglas (Kelly), Dale (Carol) and daughter Arlene (Brian) Dorge. Along with grandchildren, Chris, Bonnie (Jessica, Emily) Loewen; Jenny, Ian (Thomas, Gus) Forth; Ben Loewen; Liza, Brett (Brennan, Quinn) Rasmussen; Jaime, Ian (Kyra) Junkin; Alyssa (Sean) Murray; Sister Grace (Jerry) Lawrence; brother Gordon (Alison) Block; sister-in-law Audrey Dobbs and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Carl, her mother Lydia Block and sister Bernice Cameron. Olga was born July 9, 1932, in Steinbach Manitoba. She worked at Eaton's in the cafeteria for two years, at the High Spot Restaurant for three years before marrying Carl and moving to the farm in Domain. Over the years Carl and Olga were actively involved in community events. Olga devoted her life to raising her family and helping to run the family farm. She loved her grandchildren and made the best perogies, cabbage rolls, cinnamon twists and buns. No one ever went home hungry or empty handed. Reading and growing things gave her great pleasure. Carl and Olga spent much time camping and enjoying their time at the lake. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Olga's life will be held at a later date. The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Red River Valley Lodge for the excellent care they provided to our mom (Gaga). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Arrangements Entrusted to: Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451 www.morrisfuneralhome.ca
