CLAUDETTE JOHNSON With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our mother Claudette Johnson at the age of 76 years. She leaves behind her two children: daughter Michelle (Albert) and son Marc (Jeanette); her three grandchildren Stéphane, Patrick and Sylvie; her siblings Roseline (Jim), Phillip (Monique), Marie-Paule (Paul), and Joanne (Ray) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom's passion was flower gardening every summer - she was always so proud of her flowers in her yard. She also loved to travel and play cards. A celebration of Claudette's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21 at the St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd. A private interment will take place at a later date in Lorette, Manitoba. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca

Peter & I would like to extend our condolences to Claudette's family and to her sister Joanne. Claudette and I became friends through our church. Sadly, we did not know she had passed away and missed her funeral. She had a great personality and always made me laugh. I will miss her dearly. - Posted by: Dolores & Peter Chabluk (Friend) on: Feb 26, 2017

All of us at the St. Boniface Hospital Gift Shop are so sorry to learn our dedicated volunteer Claudette has passed. Claudette was a wonderful devoted volunteer for many years. She was an outstanding team member, and well liked by all staff and volunteers. She assisted several times during our big inventory days, always with a smile and sense of humor. Her devotion to the shop was immeasurable. She will be missed by us all. Kelly Lewis, Staff and volunteers - Posted by: Kelly Lewis (Manager, St. Boniface Hospital Gift SHop) on: Feb 22, 2017

I worked with Claudette at a small canadian bank in the 80s. She was such a tremendously positive spirit to work with, be around and be friends with. She used to laugh at me because I always called her on her birthday and she would laugh, I don't know how you remember! She was one of the nicest kindest people I ever had the honour to know. Even though we'd lost touch a bit in the last few years, I will miss her greatly. - Posted by: Shirley Nicholson (friend, former co-worker) on: Feb 21, 2017

Lee and I offer our deepest condolences to Michelle, Albert, and Marc and Jeanette, and families. It's with fond memories, that she will be remembered for; the after school, before hockey games and before night out with the girls, talks at the kitchen table. Thanks for the talks. - Posted by: Lise Collette-Harvey (friend of the family) on: Feb 18, 2017

What a beautiful picture of Aunt Claudette with her big smile. She will be deeply missed by all especially her little giggle. - Posted by: Lynne Marshall-Best (neice) on: Feb 18, 2017
