IAN CARL COOKE On Friday, February 17, 2017, Ian passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital with his daughter and granddaughters by his side. Ian was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2012. Dad leaves his daughter Cathy and son-in-law John Fox; grandchildren, Heather and Chad, Nicholas and Dawn, Shandal and Alex and great-grandsons, Chayce and Lucas Beaudry; brother and sisters, Blair, Betty-ann and Monica. He was predeceased by his parents; in-laws and four brothers, Kelly, Allan, Raymond and John. Dad loved to be with his family and friends, he enjoyed hunting and trapping, and being at his cabin at the lake. We are comforted that amma and poppa are together again. Our family thanks Dr. Zoppa and Michelle, the great nursing staff and aides at Selkirk General. Your kindness at this difficult time is appreciated. As per dad's wishes, cremation ha taken place and no formal service will be held. A private family burial will be held in the spring at the St. Peter's Dynevor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Peter's Dynevor Church. "One day at a time."
