RITA DEBELLOTTE PRESCOTT November 12, 1923 - February 16, 2017 Rita was born in Trinidad, November 12, 1923 and passed away February 16, 2017 in Winnipeg at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her brothers Rupert and Rawlins, sisters Ruth and Ruby, son George, and her husband Robert. She is survived by her children Gregory and Cisley, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to take this opportunity to graciously thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers at the various hospitals in Winnipeg who took care of her during her illness. Finally, our thanks to the Golden Door Nursing Home for walking us through this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass was held at Mary Mother of the Church, Winnipeg, MB on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Heart and Stroke Foundation.
