PIETRO PASSANTE
Born: Oct 09, 1953
Date of Passing: Feb 25, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPIETRO (PETER) PASSANTE It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Peter on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Concordia Hospital surrounded by his brothers and sisters. From the day he was born on October 9, 1953 in Catania, Sicily he was full of mischief and brought our parents and his siblings so much joy. Pete spent his working life as a cook and parlayed that into creating many meals for family and friends. He always did his best to make people laugh no matter the circumstances in his life. He was the life of the party and everyone gravitated to him to enjoy his company and the inevitable laughter. He was an excellent pool player and also enjoyed golf later on in life. Pete will be missed by the love of his life Holly; brothers Tino and Joe; best friend and brother Frank; and sisters Lucy, Rose and Liz. He also had many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will miss his jokes and laughter. Pete was predeceased by his parents Liborio and Agatina, as well as brothers Joe and Sam. Cremation has taken place and as per Pete's wishes there will be no service. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides at N3W at Concordia Hospital for their kind care of Pete. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. "Rest well brother - you were loved and will be missed." www.voyagefuneralhome.com

I am sorry to hear about the loss of my zany, colourful, caring friend Pete. Pete was the kind of man who would quietly fix things in the background, and give you the shirt from his back. I am grateful for the time we spent working together - Franco's really was a family - and Pete was a big part. So much love and light to you, Pete, and to Holly and Frank, and your whole family. I still use your "Script for a Movie" line from time to time and will always remember you saying it! - Posted by: Tricia Howe () on: May 19, 2017

I am deeply saddened to be hearing of Peters passing.......... Pete and I had been friends since we were 5 years old and whenever we managed to get together, it was like we were kids again. Time that distanced us never mattered. It was always good to see him. To his remaining family, my condolences ! He is and will always be a wonderful memory for me . See you on the other side Pete. - Posted by: Steve Sitschkar (Soul brother) on: Mar 10, 2017
