Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD (DICK) ROBERT HUNTER March 16, 1940 - March 2, 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, on March 2, 2017. Dick leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Evelyne; children, Kim (Jerry McLean), Kathy (Terry Chmelnytzki), Keith (Lydia Gareau), and Kelly Hunter; as well as grandchildren, Carol and Shauna Hunter McLean, Jena and Joshua Chmelnytzki, Katarina and Olivia Hunter, and Jared and Amanda Hunter. A proud Manitoban, Dick enjoyed his many summers at the lake, especially West Hawk, golfing with friends. He worked for many years as a branch manager at BMO, then helped lead for many years the development and growth of the HVDC Center until his retirement. His wit and humour were appreciated by all, and remained with him until the end. According to his wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Many thanks for the support provided by Home Care, and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. Edward J. Coutu Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Cancer Society (Manitoba).
