Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE FLORENCE CULLEN (nee RIEL) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bernice Cullen on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, at the age of 87 years. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Dave, daughters Linda Revel (Don), Marion and Barbara; grandsons Cullen (Flo) and Jared, great-grandson Zander; sister Toni Kelly, nieces Sandra Downey, Diane Riel, Carrie Riel and their families; cousin Betty Whalen (Gord), as well as, "fourth daughter" Sandy Michaud. Bernice was predeceased by her parents Carrie and Charlie Riel, and brothers Emile and Arthur. Bernice lived in St. Vital all her life. It was here she married her beloved Dave and raised a family. Family was extremely important to Mum, so were the many wonderful friendships she made over the years. Mum had a kind and generous spirit; her sense of humour and zest for life made people want to be around her. Mum was loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her. In keeping with Bernice's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernice's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J.
