DAVID REYKDAL Peacefully on March 25, 2017, surrounded by his wife, all his children and grandchildren, David Reykdal, aged 73 years of Hayland (Vogar), MB, passed away at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB. David will be missed and forever loved by his wife Gladys; children Charlene and Grant, Colleen and Bob, Bubby, Calvin and Keri; grandchildren Ashley (Tyler), Dylan, Nick, Kait, Brad (Sandahl), Chris (Jenna) and Ryan (Tessa); great-grandchildren Keidyn, Cole, Karah, Caylee, Thorian, Stannis, Emileigh and Johanna; brothers Stephen (Treina) and Donnie (Yvonne); sisters Joyce (Larry), Diane (Rod) and Janet (Lindy); along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, many friends and his farming community. David took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren and loved to spend a great deal of his time with them all. You never had to ask Dad to do something...he just did it. He was so caring and compassionate and was always there for everyone. As busy and active as he was in the day to day operation of the farm, his family always came first. Dad always looked after us all. He was our rock. Dad was not only a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he truly was our best friend. With broken hearts, we will always miss this wonderful man whom we shared a memorable life. We invite family and friends to join in celebrating the life of David at a gathering to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Siglunes Hall. Flowers are gratefully declined. David would be honoured if you choose to make a donation in his memory to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOME Ashern - Lundar 1-204-768-2072 1-866-323-3593

Some of you may not know me. I started hunting in Manitoba in 1978. I lived in Iowa and now live in South Carolina. I have seldom missed a trip over the years. I met David and his brother Steven, along with the Larsons and so many others during those years. As time has passed we have lost a number of our friends in your area. They may be gone but certainly are not forgotten. David was always friendly and we have fond memories of his friendly ways. I wish you all peace and comfort. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Pat Neuhaus - Posted by: Pat Neuhaus () on: Apr 10, 2017
