JULIE VERMETTE March 31, 1935 - April 2, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, memère and grand-memère, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, with family at her side. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband Rene, children: Don (Judy), Michelle (Michel Gregoire) and Gisele (Curtis Poersch), six grandchildren and their spouses and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law: Joe (Helen) and Ann Kon, as well as Rene's brothers and sisters and their families. This obituary may also be viewed at www.morrisfuneralhome.ca The family wishes to thank the staff at the Red River Valley Lodge for their care of Mom. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint Maurice Catholic Church, 253 Main St., Morris, Manitoba. Viewing and prayers will be held at the Church prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Julie can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or CancerCare Manitoba.
