MARIETTE PARENT On Friday, April 21, 2017, Mariette Parent, aged 84 years of St. Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, passed away at the Desalaberry District Health Centre. She is survived by her brother Maurice, sisters Carmelle and Marie, sisters-in-law Yolande and Solange, as well as three nieces, eight nephews, and numerous extended family members. Mariette was predeceased by three brothers Jacques, Rene, and Denis. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Manitoba with ash interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family of Mariette Parent wish to thank Irene Comeault and Claudette Remillard for their friendship and care of Mariette over the years. Thank-you as well to the staff at Chalet Malouin in St. Malo, and the Desalaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys for their care of Mariette.
