BARBARA WOODWARD It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mom, Barbara Woodward. Barb was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 20, 1935 and spent the majority of her life in Winnipeg, with a few years in Iqaluit and Nanoose Bay. Mom leaves us to join her son Robert who passed away at the age of six. She will be missed by her children, Bill (Sandy), Wendy, Terry (Frank) and Crystal (Ed) as well as many grandchildren and great -grandchildren. Barb had a very outgoing personality and will be most remembered for her endless stories and her love to dance at every function, always being the center of the party entertainment. Mom fought a hard battle with Dementia these past few years and now finds the peace and comfort that eluded her. A private Family service is being held.

I'm guessing your feelings at this time are bitter/sweet. My condolences are with you all. Barb has peace now and we'll miss her spirit. I got to know Barb a little over the last year. I danced with her at this past year's Christmas party and it was not lost on me that we share a first name. Her memory will bring a smile to my face.
